"The Quiet Flame"

Wrapped in shades of blue, she stands quietly beside the flame — not waiting, not weeping, just being. Her niqab, softly inked and flowing like prayer, frames eyes that say more than words ever could. A single candle burns beside her, its light flickering like thought. This painting is a small homage to contemplation, dignity, and the inner worlds we all carry. Blue, to me, felt like the right colour — calm, sacred, and still, like a quiet breath at dusk.
